This is such a wonderful post! You’ve done so many amazing things, Kyra, and it’s beautiful to see so much gratitude. I feel lucky to know you. 🙂
I feel the SAME way! Thank you Emma!
Love you Kyra! A fitting tribute to 20 years! 💛💛💛
I love this Kyra! You’re an inspiration 🫶
Oh this is so perfect and so well said… I love and appreciate your growth and who you are…so glad I “get to” share some of your life experiences with you because you teach me!!! Love ya, Grandma
Hi
I just wanted to respond to the Marco polos from a bit ago.
-I think you should still do the college life with Kyra episodes, I have found them enjoyable so far, and I think there will be college advice/what to expect, wether you mean to put it in there or not 😉
-I wanted to let you know that I did actually know about the rule before you told me about it, and I decided to chat with my mom about the contacting thing to get her advice/see what she wanted for me. I think (based on my opinion and what she wanted) that Im okay still doing Marco Polos on occasion, for when I really want to. And, for the most part with you and me, I’ll initiate the conversation and you can just respond with your own video when you want to. I‘ll also try to steer away from asking life advice and or telling you too much about my life or personal stuff (though I don’t think that’s been a problem before). Basically let’s try to keep it gospel and church related for the most part, when we do decide to chat.
-I really loved what you shared on the share cast about the “best case scenario” for why we’re here on earth and stuff, I feel like that really put the gospel of Jesus Christ and the plan of salvation in a new perspective for me, and It made me feel way more grateful for what I know, cuz I know I take it for granted way too often. I actually was feeling the spirit a lot when you were baring your testimony, and I kind of got a little teary eyed actually 😅 so thanks for sharing that.
-don’t worry I haven’t gone to fsy yet (I will be there in 3 weeks tho so that’s super exciting!!) so your response about the musical program wasn’t too late 🙂
—Last thing. my mom also said that if you signed some sort of contract thing about the no one-on-one contact, saying you wouldn’t do it (so if it’s more than just a rule that’s given) than that’s a little less okay. I’m not sure if that’s a thing or not (I don’t think it’s like that but I don’t know and obviously you do) but I wanted to let you know that’s there’s that too to consider about us communicating with each other with the rules in place. If there is something like that (where you signed a contract) then obviously we’ll just keep communication to these comment sections.
Okay that’s all I can think of for now, but I hope that you have a great Sunday, and a good rest of your week!
Love, Isabella
Hi Isabella! I loved reading your comment, thank you for all you shared and all your thoughts!
I did not sign anything at any point of time, and communication about what exactly is allowed and what isn’t allowed was lacking. Different sessions had different ideas and rumors about what was the rule and what wasn’t the rule (in terms of everything haha), but your mom brought up a great point.
Since I didn’t do FSY this year, I feel less pressure to follow everything to an exact “T” as I have good intentions and try to be a good role model. I’ve prayed about this a lot over the years and completely cutting off contact has never felt right.
Thank you for saying that about the CLWK episodes. Good to know 😁😅
I think the thing you decided for Marco Polo is great, and if you change your mind about asking for advice/whatever, I’m cool with that too! I think you initiating is a great idea 👏🏻🙌🏻
I am SO GLAD you liked that spiritual thought. I’m 100% going to put that in a podcast episode. I think the one on August 11th.
Oh I’m glad about the musical program!
I hope you have an amazing Sunday and rest of your week too!!! 🫶🏻🩵
